BiographyI was born in Hollis Queens, NY in 1944 and lived in Huntington, Long Island until I was 14 years old. My family moved to Mayfield, NY - the southern most town in the Adirondack Park. I graduated from Mayfield Central School and joined the Marine Corps. at age 17 and found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Upon discharge, I went to work for Niagara Mohawk Power Co. in 1967 and moved around the area - Gloversville, Ft. Ann and Speculator - and retired as Line Forman in 1999. I began my career in Real Estate in 1983 but only worked part time as an agent until becoming an Associate Broker. Since retirement from the power company, I have been fitting "house hunters" from all over with the perfect Adirondack Home... or Camp...or Lot!
Areas of ExpertiseI have lived most of my life in upstate NY - in the Adirondacks - and have no intention of ever leaving. I know a good thing when I find it. Having lived in several areas, I chose to settle on Lake Algonquin in Wells, NY. I feel that I know the Wells, Speculator, Lake Pleasant, Piseco region extremely well - having sold most of my listings in those areas.
Why I Love the AdirondacksAnyone who asks that question just has to come and spend a weekend here and they'll know why I love the Adirondacks! Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring - each season has it's beauty and its specialties ... from swimming and boating, to snowmobiling and skiing, to hiking and biking to just looking at the color pallet of fall leaves in awe. It's a spectacular place to live. Best Advice to ClientsCheck out the area you think you're interested in, first, on the internet, then in person. Then find an agent you feel comfortable working with. |
